Waking Lotus is the musical soul of Jessica Giraldo, a Puerto Rican artist whose voice is as textured and soulful as the stories she tells. Trained at Juilliard but rooted in raw, lived experience, Jessica blends classical skill with a deeply emotional sound that’s all her own. Her sound is a fusion of softness, fierceness, and healing all at once. She started out hitting open mics across New Jersey & New York, guitar in hand and songs in heart, slowly building a presence that couldn’t be ignored. Over time, her performances evolved from intimate corners to featured spots, with her music earning airplay on iHeartRadio and recognition across the Jersey City’s indie scene.
