Roxanne Lim

Roxanne Lim is a New York City-based director and writer dedicated to amplifying unique cultural stories. She is the creator of the docuseries MAARTE, a project that reclaims the Filipino-Tagalog word for "overly artistic" as a source of pride and creative power.

Roxanne approaches her work from a place of love, believing deeply in "calling each other in, not out" to foster a supportive community for fellow artists. Her work highlights the diasporic stories of creatives from New York to the Bay Area, creating welcoming platforms for voices that are often overlooked.
