"A Trip to Boulevard Drinks" is a mini-documentary following two separate visits to the iconic Jersey City hot dog spot.
After news broke that the beloved institution might be closed down or relocated, we went over to eat some hot dogs, check in on the team, and capture the real story on the ground before things changed.
Boulevard Drinks has been a staple of Journal Square for decades. In this mini-doc, we catch up with loyal customers and the manager, Victor Victoratos.
Victor shares a bit of the history behind the counter, reflecting on how he started working there at just 16 years old for his very first job, and how he practically grew up alongside the business.
